审美乌托邦是审美现代性对抗启蒙理性的产物,它与16世纪莫尔的乌托邦构想有很大不同,这主要表现为审美乌托邦是通过个人精神的解放来实现其普适性的审美救赎功能。但审美乌托邦的个人精神解放路径与其审美救赎的普适化追求之间存在着难以克服的内在矛盾。文章从现代艺术体制产生及演变的视角对这一内在矛盾加以分析,并指出现代艺术体制自主性原则既是审美乌托邦规划的体制保证,但同时它也孕育了审美乌托邦规划最终的失败。
Aesthetic Utopia is a product of the aesthetic modernity confronting enlightenment rationality. It is very different from the Utopian conception of Moore in the 16th century. This is mainly manifested in the aesthetic utopia’s universal redemptive function through the liberation of the individual spirit. However, there is an insurmountable internal contradiction between the path of emancipation of the individual spirit of aesthetic utopia and its universal pursuit of aesthetic redemption. The article analyzes the inherent contradiction from the perspective of the emergence and evolution of the modern art system and points out that the principle of autonomy of the modern art system is not only the institutional guarantee of the aesthetic utopia planning but at the same time it also gave birth to the ultimate failure of the aesthetic utopia planning.
