以汉语为母语的语言习惯使得不少人在学习和使用英语时,对英语名词可数性的界定产生了许多疑惑。笔者研究了相关文献,并结合自己的教学心得,分析了造成英语中名词可数性界定模糊的主要成因,对于物质名词和抽象名词的特征提出了自己的见解。这对进一步研究如何界定英语名词可数性有一定的研究价值,对于英语学习者掌握英语名词的用法也有一定的帮助。
The habit of using Chinese as a mother tongue has caused many doubts about the definition of the countability of English nouns when they learn and use English. The author studied the related literatures and combined with his own teaching experience, analyzed the main causes of vague definition of nouns in English, and put forward their own views on the characteristics of material nouns and abstract nouns. This is of further research on how to define the numerical noun of English nouns have some research value, for English learners to master the use of English nouns are also some help.
