关于中国传统艺术与当代艺术的关系的讨论由来已久,是“守”?——守中国传统笔墨形神,还是“破”?——破传统理论和艺术形式,迎合当代和市场?而如何将“守”与“破”这两个似乎矛盾的形式融会贯通,成为当下亟待解决的问题。本文从分析赵无极的绘画入手,客观评价他一生的艺术创作历程,思辨中国传统与当代艺术的矛盾与融通,以部分典型性的代表作分析赵无极是如何将二者结合,进而达到一定高度,将“守”与“破”转换融合的潇洒自如。
