白盆珠、水口山两水库紧密相邻,在地形上有联成一库的可能。白盆珠水库布置溢洪道较为困难,溢洪道开挖及护坡等工程量较大;而水口山水库左岸则有良好的天然凹口开挖溢洪道。两库联通后,可以互相调节洪水,减少防洪库容,尤其是在两库不是同时发生稀迂洪水时,其效果更为显著。经计算比较,确定两库联通,白盆珠水库不修建溢洪道,而在凹口开挖一联通渠道,使白盆珠水库洪水经渠道流进水口山水库,并在水口山水库左岸凹口开溢洪道渲泄两库洪水(如图1)。现将两库联通调洪计算方法介绍如下:

After calculation and comparison, it is determined that the two reservoirs of China Unicom and Baipenzhu Reservoir do not construct the spillway, but a channel of Unicom is excavated in the recess so that the flood of Baipenzhu Reservoir flows into the Shuikoushan Reservoir through the canal and opens at the left bank of the Shuikoushan Reservoir Spillway to excrete two floods (Figure 1).
