萧焕先生是一位出色的国画家,1960年毕业于西安美术学院,同年考入北京中国画院研究班,跟随王雪涛先生主攻花鸟画。萧焕工笔、写意兼长,作品朴厚、热烈,笔墨潇洒,静中有动,发人深思与遐想。“萧焕的作品工写兼长,雅俗共赏,既有严谨朴实的一面,细密精微而不示弱;同时又有热烈奔放的一面,笔墨酣畅而不松懈。亦苍亦秀,飘逸而凝重,雄浑而隽雅,错落有致,韵味无穷。”画家苗重安如此评价萧焕的画作。萧焕作品多次在国内大型画展中获奖,很多作品在日本、美国、德国等地展出并被收藏。
