马铃薯是我县主要栽培作物之一,它占全年粮食作物总产量的15%以上,占旱粮作物总产量的1/3左右,是高寒山区农民的主食。马铃薯是稳产高产作物,且增产潜力大,发展马铃薯生产是山区农民脱贫致富,发展地方工业、使种植业、畜牧业、加工业相结合,是综合利用的好门路。
Potato is one of the major cultivated crops in our county. It accounts for more than 15% of the total annual output of grain crops and about 1/3 of the total output of dry-land crops. It is the staple food of peasants in alpine mountainous areas. Potato is a stable and high-yielding crop, with great potential for yield increase. Developing potato production is a good way for comprehensive utilization of mountain farmers to get rid of poverty, develop local industries, and integrate crop farming, animal husbandry and processing industries.
