Compaq Computer Corporation announced at the ’98 Compaq Authorized Repair Center Conference ’in early April that Compaq will change its previous practice of setting up a service hotline at all offices nationwide to establish a “Customer Response Center” in Beijing and 800 National toll-free customer service phone, through the unified scheduling so that users nationwide can get service in the first time. The meeting aims to increase maintenance efforts, from the “customer satisfaction” to deepen Compaq 1998 “comprehensive partner” strategy.
