Einthoven passed the electrocardiogram signal successfully over the telephone line in 1906, but the new era of real medical telephony began after World War II. For the first time in 1953 Rahm et al used a telephone line to transmit a single lead EEG. In 1968, a series of studies evaluated the technically and economically viable teleportation of EEG. The author of this history and the status of the recent four years of research reports, and on the phone EEG methods and effects made a more detailed introduction. November 1968 For the first time, six lead EEGs were delivered over regular telephone lines from two hospitals 240 miles apart. For this purpose, two Type 604A sensors and two Type 604B receiver devices are required. As of the end of June 1972, a total of 1045 EEGs were transmitted. Remember
