激活蛋白-2是一类具有细胞特异性结合DNA的转录因子家族,能特异性调控靶基因的表达,迄今已发现α、β、γ、δ、ε五个亚型,在调节细胞增殖、分化和凋亡以及哺乳动物的胚胎发育中起到重要作用。近年来,其在肿瘤发生发展中的作用也日益受到关注。众多研究表明,激活蛋白-2的调节效应可能为双向,即抑癌或促癌,与组织特异性、时间先后以及各亚型之间差异性等相关。文中着重综述了AP-2在肿瘤发生中作用的最新进展以及临床应用前景。

In this review, we review the recent advances and clinical applications of AP-2 in tumorigenesis.
