社会的现实需要往往是教育变革的直接动力,而教育变革则是社会改革与发展的重要保障。回顾美国公立中等教育的历史发展可以发现,20世纪80年代以来美国高中尤其是综合高中的危机与转型,正是社会发展现实需要的结果。面对新的社会形势,只有切实地实现学校结构与功能间的平衡,才能保证高中教育的良性发展。
The actual needs of society are often the direct driving force of education reform, and education reform is an important guarantee for social reform and development. Recalling the historical development of public secondary education in the United States, we can find that the crisis and transformation of American high schools, especially those of comprehensive high schools since the 1980s, are the result of the realities of social development. In the face of the new social situation, the sound development of high school education can only be guaranteed if the balance between school structure and function is practically realized.
