A great deal of historical data shows that during the late Ming Dynasty, the silk products exported to Japan during the nearly 100 years of trading by the Portuguese businessmen in Macao, the so-called Macao (Japan) Day (this) trade, are huge in number, rich in variety and of considerable trade value. Due to the characteristics of silk, it is not sold as a one-off wholesaling method such as raw silk, but in a more market-oriented way. As an important part of the Silk Road civilization at sea late Ming Dynasty, the textual research of relevant details can provide reference and help for the overall study in the era of great navigation.
