语文学习是复杂的心智活动,牵涉到整个智力因素与非智力因素。将心理情感教育渗透到语文学科中去,运用普通心理学的知识于语文教学过程,研究学生的心理规律与心理特点同教材教法的关系,在学习语文知识的同时,实施心理教育。这是语文教学中值得探究的一个重要课题。语文教学中的情感作用古今中外教育家历来都十分重视教学中情感的心理作用。作为一门人文学科——语文学科,应是语言工具训练和人文教育的综合。而无论是从工具性还是从人文角度考虑,语文教学中都离不开情感教育。
