Due to the emergence of new drugs and new diagnostic techniques, the focus of controlling schistosomiasis has shifted from control to treatment of patients. However, chemotherapy does not prevent re-infection and still has to reduce the density of snails. It has been shown that molluscicides are ineffective, costly and have an adverse effect on the environment. To date, little has been known about the natural enemies and parasites of the intermediate host of schistosomiasis, and they may become biological control tools for snails. At present, it has been satisfied with the experimental research on the introduction of competitive species
