我国现有铁路规模无法满足快速增长的国民经济发展需要。近些年来,我国国民经济强劲增长带动了对国内交通运输基础设施的需求增长,铁路投资远远滞后,造成我国铁路运输密度非常高,运输周转量增长也大大超过了铁路运营长度的增长。“十一五”开始后,铁路投资出现了大幅增长。
The scale of the existing railway in our country can not meet the needs of the rapidly growing national economy. In recent years, the strong growth of our national economy has led to an increase in the demand for domestic transportation infrastructure. The investment in railway has lagged far behind, resulting in a very high density of railway transportation in our country. The growth in the volume of transportation traffic also greatly exceeds the growth in the length of railway operations. After the start of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”, there has been a substantial increase in railway investment.
