福特与C3P的完美结合 C3P实现福特协同创新——访UGS福特项目办公室总监Stan Mills

1913年,福特汽车公司开发出了世界上第一条流水线,这一创举使T型车一共达到了一千五百万辆,缔造了一个至今仍未被打破的世界记录。福特先生为此被尊为“为世界装上轮子”的人。发展到今天福特汽车仍然是世界一流的汽车企业,仍然坚守着亨利·福特先生开创的企业理念:“消费者是我们工作的中心所在。”近10多年来,福特汽车一直在整合IT平台方面不断努力。1995年开始使用并在其供应商中同步推广C3P系统,包括CAD、CAM、CAE和PIM几部分,也是福特最先用于整车研发的一套系统。C3P系统通过一个庞大而统一的数据库进行车辆研发,最大的一个好处是可以对所有正在开发中的零部件进行单独跟踪,保证研发进度,同时还可保证全球采购的零部件的品质。目前福特在全球的七个工程中心和比利时Genk生产中心,都通过这套C3P系统协调工作。福特用4年的时间完成了C3P构架的建设。福特公司副总裁NeilRessler先生曾经说过这样一句话:C3P是由福特主导的一次对设计自动化环境的重新武装,它具有十分重大的意义。我相信C3P项目将为福特带来极大的竞争优势。通过C3P体系,福特实现了新车型的开发周期从原先的36个月缩短到12~18个月,新车开发的后期涉及修改减少50%,原型车制造和测试成本减少50%,节约2亿美金开发费用,全球业务协同提高,投资收益提高30%。2004全新蒙迪欧上市,采用C3P技术设计完成的新车,开创了全球汽车技术的又一个先河——首次将电脑辅助设计,电脑辅助工程,电脑辅助制造整合在一起。C3P技术有效地完成了设计,工程,制造这三个传统意义上相对独立环节中各种数据间的转换,从而避免产生系统误差,在根本上达到美学,性能,精致工艺的完美组合。 In 1913, Ford Motor Company developed the world’s first assembly line. At present, Ford’s seven engineering centers around the world and the Genk manufacturing center in Belgium are all coordinating with the C3P system. Ford completed the C3P architecture in four years. Neil Ressler, Ford vice president, once said something like this: C3P is a Ford-led redesign of the design automation environment, and it is of great significance. I believe C3P project will bring great competitive advantage to Ford. Through the C3P system, Ford achieved a reduction of the development cycle of new models from 12 months to 12 to 36 months from the previous 36 months, a 50% reduction in late-stage modification of new vehicle development, a 50% reduction in prototype manufacturing and testing costs, and a saving of 200 million U.S. dollars Development costs, improve global business collaboration, investment income increased by 30%. 2004 The new Mondeo IPO, a new car designed with C3P technology, set a new precedent for global automotive technology - bringing together computer-aided design, computer-aided engineering and computer-aided manufacturing for the first time. C3P technology has effectively completed the transformation of various data in the three traditional aspects of design, engineering and manufacturing to avoid systematic errors and achieve the perfect combination of aesthetics, performance and exquisite process fundamentally.
