运用美国当代最著名的语言学家N.Chomsky句法理论中的X-bar理论对中学英语教学中常见的短语歧义现象作了分析和解释,认为运用这一理论能够更直观、更清晰、更迅速地让学生掌握和理解英语的短语结构,使学生意识到英语短语结构的层次性、隐蔽性以及由此导致的多义性,从而在学习中自觉地、主动地避免望文生义的现象。
By using the theory of X-bar in the theory of syntactic theory by N. Chomsky, the most famous linguist of the United States at present, this paper analyzes and explains the phenomenon of the ambiguity of phrases in high school English teaching, and finds that using this theory can be more intuitive, clearer and faster To enable students to grasp and understand the English phrase structure, to enable students to recognize the level of the English phrase structure, covert and the resulting ambiguity, so consciously and proactively in learning to avoid the phenomenon of literal meaning.
