所谓目标成本管理就是依照一定的标准,对计划期内的产品成本提出奋斗目标,并运用完善合理的管理手段确保这一目标成本得以实现(不被突破),以达到预期利润的一种方法。目标成本管理对于成本管理相对薄弱的乡镇企业来说,具有比较明显的控制费用、降低成本、确保目标利润实现的作用。尽管目标成本管理具有操作简便、效果明显的特点,但在实际工作中,由于一些财会人员对目标成本管理的内涵理解不够全面,把握不准,因而存在不少问题,致使目标成本管理活动或者流于形式,或者作用不明显。在这里,谈谈实行目标成本管理需要注意的几个问题。
