In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Shanghai, the Shanghai CPPCC held a symposium on the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Shanghai on May 24 in the Jianghai Hall of the CPPCC Municipal Committee. Comrade Wang Liping, deputy secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and chairman of the Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference, came to the meeting and delivered a speech. Comrade Zhu Daren, deputy secretary of the Municipal CPPCC and vice chairman of the CPPCC, presided over the meeting.
