2000年烟台市农科院胡萝卜制种田首次发现为害。赤条蝽 [Graphosoma rubrolineata (Westwood)]属椿象科。此虫喜于伞形花科蔬菜上为害。寄主植物有胡萝卜、白菜、萝卜、小茴香、葱、洋葱等。喜密集于种子部位，特喜于胡萝卜种花上。在胡萝卜制种田，赤条蝽以针状口器插入种花组 Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2000, the first discovery of carrot farming damage.
