It is currently believed that infantile delayed vitamin K (VitK) deficiency is mainly associated with exclusive breastfeeding, long-term diarrhea, liver, biliary disorders and hypocalcemia. However, we found that the vast majority of the occurrence of this disease and acute infection are closely related. In order to prevent the occurrence of this disease, we have given short-term VitK to children with acute infection of less than 6 months and achieved significant preventive effect.
