Objective To compare and evaluate the effect of ketamine and sevoflurane combined caudal block in pediatric lower abdomen anesthesia. Methods 56 cases of pediatric patients were randomly divided into two groups: ketamine compound sacral block group, sevoflurane combined sacral block group, 28 cases in each group. Observe and compare the vital signs and anesthesia effects of the two groups before, during and after surgery, and record the induction and awake time. Results The heart rate (HR) and blood pressure (BP) in group A were higher than those in group B, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). The awake time and postoperative adverse reactions in group B were smaller than those in group A, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). Conclusion Sevoflurane combined caudal block in the lower abdomen anesthesia in children induced and awake faster, and children with more stable vital signs, fewer adverse reactions.
