The Liulihe archaeological team composed of the Institute of Archeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Beijing Municipal Cultural Relics Work Team has unearthed many lacquer wares in the cemetery of Yan State in the Western Zhou Dynasty of Liulihe River in Beijing. Although the lacquer quality of lacquer ware has been decadent, it is still an important discovery. When the lacquer ware was unearthed, Comrade Yin Weizhang, captain of the team, proposed that it must be thoroughly purged, properly preserved, and reconstructed with the author. The measures were taken very timely, so that the lacquerware in the Western Zhou Dynasty, which has been up and down for 3000 years ago, will be able to regain its original appearance and regain its glory. For the excavation of the cemetery, see the excavation report of the cemetery of Yan State during the Zhou Dynasty of Liulihe River from 1981 to 1983, and the archeology of 1984 (hereinafter referred to as the “Brief Report”).
