The Fifth National Medical Information Academic Conference of Chinese Medical Association was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province from 26th to 30th, October 1999, and 110 people from all over the country attended the conference. The opening ceremony was presided over by honorary chairman Professor Lu Rushan.
