Full Service Maintenance Agreement (FSMA) and Finance Lease are Fuji Xerox’s core business, both have periodic billing features. With the rapid growth of MIF volume in the past years, FSMA and Finance Lease generated stable cash flow. At the same time they also brought the company great challenges. How to manage FSMA and Finance Lease contracts effectively, support flexible billing model, and integrate with ERP/CRM, which have become the urgent needs. In order to adapt to the changes of the company’s business development as well as national policy, contract management and billing system (ABACUS) has to have considerable complexity to support complex billing model which changes frequently. In addition, FSMA and Finance Lease are both relatively new business in China, the company constantly adjust its management, so system also needs to adjust itself constantly to the business development.In view of the current system problems encountered and the company uses the ORACLE ERP/CRM the status quo, this thesis introduces ORACLE EBS technology to build ABACUS. Reference to the3-tier architecture of ORACLE EBS, system encapsulates the complex billing model at application layer, manages contracts via workflow, and runs batch processes and reports via concurrent manager. It also supports multiple organizations, flex fields and interface tables. On this basis, the thesis elaborates on the implementation of each layer.The thesis firstly analyzes the requirement of FSMA and Finance Lease, and leads to the ORACLE EBS solution after listing the lacks of client/server architecture. Secondly, the thesis analyzes and designs the overall logic architecture, and gives the detailed design and implementation of the system. Finally, the thesis makes a summary and outlook of the ORACLE EBS technology-based ABACUS.ORACLE EBS technology can make ABACUS with better reliability, maintainability, and forward-looking, and better adapt to the changes in the organizational structure, so as to improve the executive ability of market strategies efficiently and provide a solid background to support the rapid development of FSMA and Finance Lease. In the follow-up work system will introduce the rule engine into the billing program to improve the flexibility further.
