In this study, 15 isolates of Morchella were collected from all of the country or isolated in our institute, and 1 ascocarp of Morchella were analyzed by RAPD. The result suggests that the isolates from which were isolated of fresh ascocarp in our institute and some from other institutes are real isolates of Morchella. The DNA fingerprint pattern of ascocarp of M.robusta is as same as of its isolate using 6 random primers. This result shows that the method of isolates from fresh ascocarp is a quite good method for Morchella; and RAPD analysis is useful to identify the isolates of edible mushroom.The relationship among isolates belonging to yellow morels is close, and gathers into one taxonomic group in the dendrogram. At first, 2 isolates of M.robusta gather, then, together with M.crassipes M.vugaris and M.esculenta successively. At the same time, 3 isolates belonging to black morels form into another taxonomic group. Tow isolates of M. elata gather firstly, then together with M.conica. This conclusion coincide with the view of Royse May Buscot, F. and Wipf, D. et al. They believe that genus Morchella might divide into three polymorphic groups: yellow morels, black morels and free-capped morels.Five specimens belonging to 4 morphic species of Morchella and 1 outgroup of Helvella were analyzed by using RAPD. The result shows that the relationship of yellow morels are close too. Tow M.crassipes isolated from different geographic area gather into 1 group firstly, and then together with M.robusta M.vugaris and M.esculenta orderly. This result shows that the divergence among the species is bigger than the inter-species. Five morels and loutgroup are divided into 2 groups. This result shows that there is certainly hereditary stability in morels. Meanwhile, it shows that RAPD analysis fits for the studying on the molecular systematics of the morels.
