Interlaminar delamination is a common failure mode which is critical to the integrity and reliability of laminated fibre composite structures for aerospace, automotive and other applications.In the past few decades, there were substantial efforts by many research groups to develop new and innovative techniques to increase the interlaminar toughness in order to suppress inter-ply delamination.
