Background Sasang constitutional medicine (SCM) is one of a Korean traditional medicine which classified human beings into four constitutions,that is Taeyangin (TY type),Soyangin (SY type),Tae-eumin (TE type),and Soeumin (SE type) based on the physical traits.It has been suggested that each constitution has different drug response to certain herbal medicine and different susceptibility to pathology in SCM.
