This study explores pathways of outward direct investment (ODI) undertaken by family firms (FFs) from China.Theoretically,we aim to build up the general theory of foreign direct investment (FDI) as applied to a special context of the Chinese ODI,and further,as applied to a specific context of the Chinese ODI conducted by the Chinese family firms (CFFs).
