  A multiscale simulation method, qausicontinuum(QC) method was applied to study the nanoindentation with a cylindrical indenter and a single crystal aluminum substrate.In the indentation process, the repulsive force field approach is considered to model indenters and compared to the displacement boundary condition.With the two indentation methods, we found that at the suitable density of energy parameter the elastic modulus is almost same in the two methods.
