Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) was successfully used as film adhesive in the assembly of aerospace-grade advanced composites.In order to incerase its mechanical performance, PVDF/Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and PVDF/Organo-modified layered silicates (OMLSs) nano-composites were prepared by phase inversion technique.Long chain macromolecules, maleic anhydride grafted PVDF (PVDF-MAH), were used to fine tune the interface.
