根据国家林业局第二次陆生野生动物资源调查要求,上海市第二次陆生野生动物资源调查于2013年4月启动.其中上海市崇明生态岛野生动物资源专项调查在2013-2014 度选取了崇明岛、长兴岛和横沙岛共6个样区25条样线进行了调查.共记录鸟类111种19103只,物种多样性指数为2.694,均匀性指数为0.572.
