Bioalcohol production by saccharomyces serevisiae fermentation using depolymerized methyl cellulose by chemical degradation was studied[1].After methyl cellulose was depolymerized by the radical catalytic reaction at 125℃ in simple batch reactor, and condensed liquid and residues separated by rotary evaporator.Hydroquinone added as radical scavenger to residue of chemical degradation or not added. The products were fermented by S.cerevisiae, results were compared to glucose of YPD medium(yeast extract1%,peptone2% and glucose2%)[2].The samples were analyzed using gas chromatography (GC)/mass spectroscopy,GC-FID,to identify and qualitative the types of products for residue fermentation.
