  Single-layer graphene-gold nanoparticles composites are proposed and used in biosensor for β 2 agonists.Chemical vapor deposition is used to prepare single layer graphene on copper foil.The copper foil provides a spontaneous oxidation-reduction reaction between gold ions and copper surface inducing the deposition of gold nanoparticles.The graphene-gold nanoparticles composites are transfered on glassy carbon electrodes.The modified electrodes offers a sensitive platform for β 2 agonists detection.Amperometric linear response calibrations from 10-5 to 10-9 M ofsalbutamol and terbutaline are obtained respectively.
