  Porous C-NiO nanocomposite films has been prepared by one step polymerization induced phase separation process within the framework of sol-gel technique, exhibiting high solar absorption and low thermal emittance.Scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscope, thermo-gravimetric and differential thermal analysis, Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transformed infrared, UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer were employed to analyse the gel and film structure.The effects of diethanol amine (DEA) and DMF upon the hydrolysis of Ni(Ac)2 has been studied as well as the relationship between the stability of sol and the content of DEA.The result show that DEA is more advantageous to adjust the hydrolysis of Ni(Ac)2 and the crack-free film with the pore structure corresponds to the content of DEA about 1 gram.
