We consider a dynamic model of phosphorus extraction by a monopolist,in which current demand increases future recyclable scrap.We analyze the e¤ect of recycling on the rate of extraction of the monopoly,on the exhaustion date of the resource,on the dynamic of the price of the resource and on consumers surplus.
