Objective:To investigate the diagnosis and surgical treatment of upper lumbar disc herniation.Methods:30 patients of upper lumbar disc herniation were retrospective analyzed about the clinical manifestation,positive sign,radiological findings,diagnostic and surgical treatment methods.Results:All cases were followed up,average 1.5 years.25 cases were excellent and 4 were good,1 was fair.
