Dimethylformamide (DMF) is a kind of organic solvent and widely used in the manufacturining of synthetic leather,medicine,etc.,in which the wastewater containing 10-25wt% DMF waS produced,and needed to dispose and recover the DMF before discharge.The conventional method for recovering of DMF is distillation,the disadvantage of this technology is large energy consumption.Pervaporation,as a newly developing and energy-saving technique,can be used to replace the distillation unit or couple with that in order to cut down the energy consumption and cost of DMF recovery process.Several kinds of pervaporation membranes,such as NaA zeolite [1-2],PVA-g-Aam [3],alginate crosslinked with calcium chloride [4] etc.are reported to treat DMF/H2O mixtures,but most of them are still in laboratory scale.
