  Hydrogen sulfide(H2S)is a member of gasotransmitter family and plays an important role in the regulation of neuronal functions.It exerts anti-neuroninflammatory,anti-oxidant,and anti-apoptotic effects on neurons and glial cells,but the underlying mechanisms are largely unsettled.To investigate the effects and its potential mechanisms of H2S on the intracellular Ca2+([Ca2+]i)level in the primarily cultured medullary neurons.
