Preliminary study on anchor properties of pre-stressed CFRP plate at high temperature

  Some high-temperature environment would cause a comparatively large loss ofpre-stress on pre-stressed CFRP plate or give rise to failure due to the unstable holding of anchor holder on CFRP plate,when the structures are strengthened at special areas.In order to test the effect of wave-shape-gear-grip anchor (WSGA) on the anchor properties and pre-stress loss of CFRP plate under high temperature,a group of pre-stressed CFRP plate specimens are designed for testing of stress loss under high pre-stress (about 2000 MPa) and high temperature (about 85℃C),and finally the CFRP plate is subject to tensile wrecking to check if the anchoring performance of WSGA is degraded.The result (as fig.l) shows that,with no view of the short-term stress loss of CFRP plate during releasing,the total stress loss ofpre-stressed CFRP plate is below 3% in 11 days of high temperature and stress.The tensile breaking test also proves that the CFRP plate has a good anchoring performance on the WSGA.
