Janus cells, a special kind of Janus particles, may have extraordinary properties and applications comparing with common cells 1.So far, Janus cells have not been reported, due to the existing methods involve harsh environment which cannot keep cells alive in the preparation process.Imaginably, the Janus cell assemblies will possess unique applications except the use of common multicellular structures.
