The diversity of bacterial floras in the jejunum, duodenum and cecum of four local chicken breeds from Henan province with a same com diet in two different feeding stages (8 and 48weeks) were examined by analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequences.V3 region of bacterial 16S rRNA gene sequences were detected by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE),and cluster analyses based on the band similarity in migration and intensity between lanes were used to understand the distance of each lanes. The results indicated that only five to eight bands were detected in jejunum and duodenum, and over twenty bands were detected in duodenum.Three intestine position from different breeds were clustered together each, and compared with jejunum and duodenum.Bands appeared in cecum showed much more abundant which indicated more bacterial diversity.
