Li1+xV3O8 with a novel structure was directly prepared through a facile solution route using β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) as template.The as-prepared Li1+xV3O8 materials were observed to have a cavity structure from the SEM micrograph and exhibits excellent electrochemical performance in aqueous electrolytes.The results,which measured from a rechargeable aqueous lithium-ion battery (RALB) constructed by LiMn2O4 cathode,Li1+xV3O8 anode,and a 1 M Li2SO4 electrolyte,revealed that the obtained Li1+xV3O8 can deliver a specific capacity of 188 mAh·g-1 at 0.1 C rate.
