1.Introduction Geo-Spatial Technologies (GSTs) depend on geo-referenced data often structured into a series of co-registered layers portraying such features as topography, hydrography,jurisdictional boundaries and locations of man-made features such as streets, buildings or other "points of interest" (POIs).These technologies constitute a paradigm shift in the way both consumers and professional decision makers such as engineers, urban planners and market researchers, see the world in which they work and live.
