Many cyclotetrapeptides have long been described to have strong and various interesting activities, such as host specific or species specific phytotoxic activities or cytostatic effects1.Recently, cyclotetrapeptides drew great attentions as one of the major putative pharmacophore families of histone deacetylases (HDACs) inhibitors2.The cyclic tetrapeptide scaffold is supposed to play important role for effective binding to the surface of HDACs3.
