　　Purpose: We aimed to evaluate whether surgical resection for patients with brain metastases from breast cancer is effective in terms of survival.Methods: We performed a retrospective review of medical records of patients who conducted surgical resection of brain metastases from breast cancer in the period of 2003 to 2016.Patients demographic data,pathological characteristics,treatment and outcomes were collected and analyzed.
