Thermal plasma has the characteristic such as high temperature,high enthalpy and high energy density.It can make any particles melting and then the melted particle formatting into spherical particles after rapid cooling.Spheroidization of titanium oxide powder was done by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) processing.The powder was injected into the plasma jet issuing out of an ICP plasma torch.The effects of process parameters (feed rate,working gas flow rate,et al) on spheroidization degree were investigated.Characterization of the spheroidized powder was done by Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Hall flow meter.
