Naval technology and ocean power,as the product of using technical means to achieve social goals,is a typical topic to be studied by Science,Technology and Society (STS).The relationship between naval technology and ocean power is interactive.There is tension between the two.This paper will study the relationship between naval technology and ocean power in the perspective of STS,mainly the interactive tension relationship between the two.
