The research on the structural composite latex particlewith various morphologies prepared by emulsion polymerization has been paid more attention both in industry and in academia.These composite latex particles are widely used in a great deal of fields,such as waterborne coatings,adhesives,biometrics,etc.exhibiting the better synergetic properties than those of their singlecomponentcounterparts or homo-polymers blending.The properties of composite latex particles are dependent on the morphological feature of such particles,which is commonly considered to be governed by thermodynamics and kinetics.
