Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the situation of antibiotic prophylaxis for TACE, and the impact of administrative intervention on appropriate antibiotic prophylaxis and infective complications relating to TACE.Methods A retrospective study was conducted on adult patients who underwent TACE from July 2011 to June 2012 in Zhongshan Hospital Fudan University, Shanghai, China.
