Motivated by a number of reasons, several countries have initiated a number of biofuel policies in the last few years.Canada is no different.While there a number of policy rationales that are similar, the Canadian biofuels landscape exists in a unique economic and political environment.The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of the Canadian biofuels landscape including its policy rationale, the federal and provincial dimensions, and its future direction.
